The Artist
I'm LockEight — a Toronto-based DJ and producer. My sound is groove-forward house with minimal and tech-leaning influences: rolling basslines, crisp percussion, and long-form progression built for late-night dancefloors. I got into this music because it made me feel something nothing else did, and I haven't stopped chasing that feeling since.
I've played everywhere from Costa Rica's Club La Pasion to some of the biggest rooms in Toronto — Rebel, Soluna — while still making time for the intimate spots that matter: Biblio, La Piscina, Rivoli, Paradise Grotto. From club nights to festivals like Heatwave and Fearworks, my ability to read the room and elevate the mood is what I bring every time I step behind the decks.
I'm also the co-founder of No Sleep Club — a Toronto-based underground collective and event series focused on forward-thinking house music and intimate club culture. Through NSC, I curate lineups, host recurring events, and support both international and local artists.
